NIKOLA BOZADZHIEV
Nikola Bozadzhiev is a Bulgarian director, screenwriter and producer working across film, theatre, circus, fashion and commercial productions, including projects for Grazia and ELLE.
His own film feature debut as screenwriter and director - "Shibil", had turned into an international success of high value in the independent film industry. It gained sound track record, amounting to 158 awards in 19 categories and 55 countries. This natural progression of recognition led the film to become part of the European Netflix family.
Among its distinctions is the Platinum Remi Award, presented at the 54th WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival—an event whose award alumni include filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, David Lynch, Ridley Scott, the Coen Brothers, Spike Lee, Oliver Stone and Robert Rodriguez.
At the heart of Bozadzhiev’s work is a belief in cinema as both spectacle and meaning. He continues to develop original film and television projects that bring together bold visual worlds, emotionally resonant characters and stories rooted in cultural memory—created for audiences beyond borders.
